RJ Counseling offers court-ordered domestic violence treatment for individuals who have been charged with domestic violence. We serve the perpetrator population through weekly groups that provide clients with psychoeducational materials that focus on understanding domestic violence, effects abuse can have on the victim/family, emotional regulation strategies, anger management, and behaviors that can promote abuse in relationships.
These groups are formatted to serve those who have been convicted with domestic violence or who have been court/probation referred to groups. If you feel you would benefit from domestic violence intervention coursework, our clinical team can integrate domestic violence treatment into your treatment plan if deemed appropriate at consultation. Please call us to find out more information.
The state of California generally orders Batterers Intervention Programming classes for a 52 week commitment. Check your court order for specific information on your case.
